Nestled on the banks of the Shoalhaven River, with stunning mountain views, The Driftwood Shed is a rustic wedding venue that offers a one-of-a-kind experience for couples seeking an intimate and unique wedding. Our DIY approach allows you to personalise your wedding to make it truly your own.

At The Driftwood Shed, we believe in letting nature be the star of the show. Our rustic and natural design elements create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for you and your guests. From our 100-year-old shed to our unique gardens, every corner is filled with old treasures, which gets everyone talking and remembering simpler times and creates a very homely, relaxed atmosphere.
Having hosting hundreds of weddings at the Driftwood Shed over the past 12 years,, we understand that every wedding is unique and should be tailored to the couple's vision, but also stress free !For that reason our packages are very inclusive, and include our Venue Manager, Barstaff and the use of our on-site self-contained cabin. ​​
The Ceremony Area
Our ceremony area is situated on top of the riverbank with stunning mountain views.We have a permanent arbour made from recycled railway sleepers, a lovely old hardwood table for signing your vows and beautiful rustic bench seats for your guests.​
The Garden
After the ceremony guests are invited for canope/grazing and drinks in the garden, while the couples wander around the grounds for photos.Our amazing barstaff will set up and man the outdoor bar.Have a look on our garden Instagram page. (greentoes) for lots of garden pics.​​​
The Marquee
Our 6m x 18m clear sided marquee can seat up to 100 people for dinner. Bordered on the southern side by the cutest ivy-covered fence with antique potplants and ornaments.We provide wooden tressle tables and mismatched chairs, as well as the crockery/glassware etc.There are 2 x 3metre wooden ladders hanging from the roof that can be used to hang florals and greenery, as well as lovely festoon lighting .
The Shed
After dinner we move into the candlelit shed for dancetime beneath the chandeliers and fairylights! Meanwhile our staff will light the big firepit outside if anyone wants some quiet time!
FOOD & DRINKS
As we are a DIY venue our couples can choose their own caterers and supply their own alcohol, which can be very good for your budget.
We can recommend many wonderful local caterers from fine dining to food trucks!
We will also provide Barstaff for the duration of your function.
